Day 4 - Lake Solano to Calistoga
(June 18)
Wednesday continues west, into the river canyon, before climbing past Monticello Dam and then “Cardiac Hill” via Hwy. 128 in Napa County. The route heads north into Pope Valley and the perennially challenging Ink Grade! That night the tour stays in historic Calistoga, the heart of the Wine Country, famous for its mineral waters and health spas. While camping is provided, many riders choose to take a mid tour motel break and enjoy a mud bath or massage at one of the spas. Points of interest:
